Burr & Forman, an Am Law 200 firm with over 350 attorneys, seeks qualified candidates for an administrative assistant position to support the marketing department.  The administrative assistant will report to the Director of Marketing, but will work with the entire marketing team to provide administrative support across a broad range of marketing and business development activities.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Enter and maintain contact data and lists in our firm CRM.
  • Maintain marketing data related to firm directories and superlatives.
  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to manage the sourcing and purchasing of the firm’s promotional item assortment.
  • Compile data for and format monthly reports to track various projects, including promotional store orders and top client activity.
  • Complete market surveys for publications within our footprint.
  • Create agendas and take notes for all team meetings.
  • Format presentations using branded firm template.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

THE ESSENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Applicable work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • 4+ years of applicable administrative support experience, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and work efficiently under the pressure of meeting multiple deadlines with frequent interruptions.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using cloud-based technologies; experience with project management applications a plus.
  • Strong positive and energetic attitude, enthusiastic, approachable, and flexible.
