Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication, with all parties involved in real estate transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collect information and set up files in our title closing system, SoftPro Select.
  • Review information in MDK’s case management system to ensure accuracy and movement of foreclosure sales.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of closing procedures, including the signing of documents and the transfer of property ownership.
  • Process the recording of deeds and other closing documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Review closings and assist with disbursements and ledger packets, including fees, funding, deposits, and wire transfers.
  • Generate checks and disburse funds from the transaction.
  • Prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to your area and zone of responsibility related to the transaction. 

Requirements:

 

  • One or more years of administrative experience.
  • Notary Public preferred.   
  • Professionals who have earned an associate’s/bachelor’s degree are preferred but is not required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Hybrid position – you must be willing to work in our Columbus office 2-3 days a week.

Schedule & Benefits:

 

Our team works Monday through Friday, general business hours. After a successful orientation period, we offer a hybrid schedule, which allows our employees the flexibility to work from home and in the office.
