Associate Attorney

We currently have an opening in South Carolina for an Attorney in the Product Liability & Abestos practice group. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package in a professional, congenial work environment.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years� experience in litigation preferred. Candidate must be admitted to practice in South Carolina and should possess strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and have the ability to manage files and work independently.

Duties:

Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and required client reports

Taking depositions of lay witnesses and expert witnesses

Retaining and preparing expert witnesses

Conducting legal research

Communicating with clients and opposing attorneys

Managing a full caseload from beginning to end

Working closely with other attorneys and paralegals on the Abestos team.
