What you’ll be doing…

  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, settlement agreements, orders for contract negotiations and court proceedings

  • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel under the direction of senior associate attorneys

  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on potential resolutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients

  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

  • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is readily available for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff


 Essential Skills and Aptitudes:



  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. 

  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base.

  • Outstanding and effective communication and problem-solving skills to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys.

  • Demonstrated interviewing skills to know which questions to ask to gather more information and to gain a thorough understanding of claims.

  • Excellent research, analytical, verbal, and writing skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload in a busy, fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills. 

  • Professionalism, strong work ethic, and sense of compassion.

  • Must be team-player, positive, motivated, and organized. 

  • Commitment to professional excellence, continuous self-improvement, and a desire to learn.

  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus database and document management systems.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
