Job Description

 Attorneys play a pivotal role in managing the entire pre-litigation or litigation process, overseeing tasks from initial filing through to verdict. Their responsibilities extend to handling CPL (Commercial Property and Liability) cases, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and effectively preparing pre-litigation cases for legal proceedings. Reporting to supervising attorneys and/or the firm's partners, litigation attorneys hold supervisory roles over litigation assistants, paralegals, and CPL case managers. 

Attorney provides comprehensive legal support and guidance to clients during the critical pre-litigation phase. This role involves conducting thorough case audits, maintaining effective client communication, and handling various pre-litigation processes. The attorney will address liability determinations, engage in settlement negotiations, and oversee document reviews to ensure favorable outcomes while minimizing legal risks and costs

Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 6:30PM EST

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Member of the Florida Bar (other state bars a plus).
  • Strong research, verbal and written communication and people skills.
  • Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation.
  • Experience and knowledge on how to evaluate value of claims.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • No Personal injury experience required.
