Description

Gevurtz Menashe is seeking an Associate Estate Planning attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. 


Gevurtz Menashe is dedicated to family law and estate planning in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Primary Responsibilities:

· Execute case strategy with senior-level attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff.

· Manage your own caseload.

· Keep clients informed by maintaining regular contact, communicating case progress, working with Certified Public Accounts, Financial Advisors, insurance brokers, beneficiaries, and other legal counsel.

· Provide support to senior-level attorneys.

· Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients related to estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.

· Advise clients regarding estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.

· Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

· Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

· Research complex tax issues.

· Attend business development and networking functions with firm leadership and solo.

Salary Range: $120k - $140k DOE and Qualifications


Requirements

· At least 4 years’ experience practicing estate planning in Oregon and/or Washington. 

· Demonstrated knowledge of estate and tax planning.

· Have an active Oregon State Bar membership. 

· Washington State Bar membership, a plus.

· LLM in tax planning, a plus.

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

· Must be able to demonstrate experience providing exceptional client service, including the ability to build rapport with clients.

· A growth-minded professional with outstanding analytical ability.

· Is interested in being part of an enthusiastic team who share a commitment to business and practice development, with the ultimate goal of providing clients with top-notch service.

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.

· Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for accuracy.

· Must prioritize client service and communication.

· Experience preparing and filing estate tax returns (federal and state) and gift tax returns, strongly preferred.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.

· Must have the ability to handle a heavy caseload and provide support to other attorneys.

· Must be dependable.

· Must be willing to supervise staff within the practice group.


Salary Description

$120,000-$140,000
