Our Lubbock office- 79408 is looking for an energetic attorney who is goal-driven, willing to learn, and who works well with a team. We will only consider attorneys licensed in Texas.


Perdue Brandon is a multi-state law firm that provides collection services and related legal representation exclusively to government entities. We work to ensure that our clients have the resources needed to serve their communities.

The preferred candidate will have 3 or more years of legal experience; however, newly licensed attorneys will be considered. Experience in tax litigation is not required. No billable hours.


Requirements:



  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

  • 3+ years of legal experience.


Essential Job Duties:



  • Manage a high-volume workload

  • Communicate daily with clients, taxpayers, staff, and others verbally and in writing

  • Draft, review, and respond to documents in a timely manner, prior to deadlines

  • Prepare for and attend weekly court hearings and trials in Lubbock County and surrounding counties

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients

  • Attend local evening and weekend events, and statewide conferences
