About the Role






The Associate Recruiting Senior Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for coordinating all phases of recruiting (specializing in offices where applicable), including the summer program, entry-level hiring, and campus outreach, while serving as a liaison to law schools, coordinating with internal departments, and providing mentorship and support to junior team members. This role will be based in either our San Francisco office or Silicon Valley office but will support both offices and require regular travel between them. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence, with certain times of year requiring primarily in-office presence.  









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Devising and executing all aspects of the summer program, including orientation, trainings, and events
  • Developing relationships with and serving as firm liaison to law schools, career services colleagues, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals
  • Coordinating and implementing outreach strategies at target law schools including on campus events, Latham-led events, etc.
  • Maintaining relationships and coordinating schedules and trainings with key departments
  • Communicating directly with summer and fall hires throughout the onboarding process
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
  • Display strong communication skills, both written and verbal

 

And have:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services
