We are currently seeking an Associate with Family Law/ Divorce / Custody litigation experience to join our team in our Hartford, New Britain, Manchester. Friendly collegiate atmosphere.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned):

• Represent family law clients from intake through to case conclusion.


• Ability to litigate cases, conduct effective discovery and engage in trial of matters to conclusion on behalf of firm clientele.


• Advance the legal cause of firm clientele by preparing legal documents, presenting evidence, analyzing cases, conduct effective discovery and obtain optimal results for firm clientele.


• Billing - through use of the firm’s computerized case management systems and use of Family Law Software


• Prepare for trial by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits, preparing lay and expert witnesses and overall presenting claims on behalf of clientele.

Required Education and Experience:

• Juris Doctor


• Admitted to the Connecticut Bar


• Minimum 3 years Plaintiff Personal Injury legal experience

Required Abilities and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills


• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word
