Requirements: MUST have an active Bar license in Missouri and (1) + years law experience
Preferred:Active Bar license in Illinois and Kansas

Purpose and Value to the Team:
As a Workers’ Compensation Associate, you will handle all aspects of representing clients in their Work Comp matters from the moment the case opens, through each case resolution. This position will also provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff ensuring adherence to all Workers’ Compensation laws, regulations, and labor codes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Proactively communicating with clients to provide updates and claim status
Interacting and negotiating with insurance companies
Drafting case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements and other legal documents as required
Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared
Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other various proceedings
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time-management skills
Committed to providing superb responsive and compassionate client service
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations
Familiar and current knowledge of current Workers’ Compensation law
