Summary






The Client Arrangements Analyst is responsible for supporting the billing partners and Billing department by reviewing and implementing our client fee arrangements.









Duties and Responsibilities






  • Understand the client arrangements cycle thoroughly and manage a wide portfolio of Firmwide clients
  • Work closely with Firm billing partners, billing specialists, other Firm departments, and clients (as necessary) to determine our client fee arrangements.
  • Prepare analyses of billing information to assist billing partners in developing fee arrangement proposals and realization impact projections.
  • Communicate the client fee arrangements and billing requirements to appropriate Firm personnel effectively.
  • Review and analyze our client fee arrangements to ensure the corresponding billing information is properly set up in our financial and legal management system (Elite Enterprise).
  • Assist with special projects as needed. Special projects may include: rate code administration, New Client reporting, Alternative Fee Arrangement allocations, accrual/budget reporting, etc. for select clients.
  • Evaluate our current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Address questions and issues that arise due to the set-up of billing information in Elite from individuals at various levels across the Firm’s offices worldwide and from clients.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify opportunities for process improvements and training that could prevent similar issues in the future through the process of addressing questions, issues, and fulfilling normal daily activities.
  • Provide excellent client service to our attorneys, billing specialists, client and other Firm personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, technology or similar field
  • Experience with Elite Enterprise
  • Experience with electronic billing systems
