Troutman Pepper Locke is among the first law firms to release a custom firm-built GPT-powered application, Athena, for firm-wide use by attorneys and business professionals to draft, summarize, edit, and analyze language securely.
The Client Collaboration Manager, as part of the Knowledge Management and Innovation Department, will oversee the strategic development, implementation, and management of the firm's external client collaboration platform. The Client Collaboration Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing client relationships and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between the firm and its clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive workspaces that align with the firm’s goals and objectives.
Manage the creation, curation, and management of the external client collaboration workspaces to ensure they are relevant, up-to-date, and engaging for our clients.
Lead pilot projects, evaluations, product selection, and firm-wide deployment of new offerings supporting improvements in the external client collaboration environment.
Conduct regular audits of the client collaboration workspaces to ensure adherence to firm policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other stakeholders regarding project and business solution requirements; ensure the external client collaboration product meets the firm’s needs.
Provide training and support to end users on the effective use of the external client collaboration platform.
Generate and analyze reports on client usage, satisfaction, and platform performance.
Provide insight and recommend potential directions to firm and practice leadership regarding the firm’s external collaboration technologies and industry trends.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in client collaboration tools, sharing information across the team regarding any relevant changes or updates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of the HighQ platform and its capabilities.
Strong understanding of legal services and the ability to communicate effectively with legal professionals and clients.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
Proactive and strategic, with the ability to successfully manage client interactions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives that improve client satisfaction and service delivery.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. JD or legal background beneficial.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in client relationship management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
Demonstrated experience and success in leveraging technology to improve various workflows and long-standing business challenges.
