Compensation Analyst - Partner Accounting

Summary






This position reports to the Compensation and Analytics Supervisor and is responsible for recording and reporting of partner compensation as well as various other partner compensation related programs.









Duties and Responsibilities






  • Track compensation information in Partner Resource and Information Systems Management (PRISM) system to record partner compensation agreements, committee decisions, special payments, FTE status and separation arrangements
  • Compute compensation components to follow equity policy and tax compliance rules for input in PRISM
  • Create uploads to populate actual, historical compensation and other related arrangements in PRISM
  • Populate admin source tables in PRISM at month and year-end close
  • Review financial schedules prepared for the annual partner evaluation and compensation review process
  • Assemble financial report packets to support management at the year-end partner meetings
  • Prepare financial schedules for management to determine compensation recommendations for promoted partners
  • Update and generate annual compensation memos for the individual year-end partner packets
  • Generate monthly recurring reports related to compensation provided to management
  • Prepare census data for insurance renewals, annually and as requested
  • Generate cash flow projection statements; maintain source files, update templates and documentation
  • Track partner capital and non-capital loan programs in PRISM
  • Complete special project work and/or ad hoc reports or presentations

Education and/or Experience:Β 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of two years of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Experience in Human Resources, compensation or related area
  • Experience in law firm industry or other professional services
