The Conflicts New Business Analyst is responsible for conducting the preliminary analysis and research for the identification and subsequent resolution of any potential conflicts issues during the new business intake process. Using the firm’s internal conflicts database and external corporate research resources, the Conflicts Analyst will prepare conflicts of interest reports that allow New Business Conflicts Staff Attorneys (CSA) and requesting partners to quickly and effectively identify compliance issues that need to be addressed prior to opening new business. The Conflicts Analyst will also prepare reports evaluating potential risks presented by new clients and assist in the set up and maintenance of ethical screens as required. Additionally, as the initial point of contact during the new business intake process, the Conflicts Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the standardization and integrity of data and information gathering during the new business intake process.
