MISSION: To write, edit, and proof compelling copy for commercials, web videos, print pieces, blogs, and internal projects that meet client and agency objectives.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Complete writing assignments for TV commercial productions, speculative scriptwriting, web videos, social media, and agency marketing projects. Be a go-to resource for proofing and editing needs in the Creative Services department.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Write, proof and edit print pieces, broadcast spots and web video copy that align with the client's brand identity and strategic goals
  • Brainstorm and implement new campaign slogans, taglines, and scripting concepts for use in print and video
  • Research and provide sources for data-based concepts from published work and internal data
  • Assist in the preparation of competitive spot analyses for client shoots
  • Learn to run teleprompter for production shoots as needed (training provided)
  • Collaborate with producers, brand managers, and other internal stakeholders on all assigned projects
  • Regularly contribute to the company blog
  • Provide proofing, editing, and copywriting support for internal communication and marketing projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/ BA required
  • 2+ years writing experience preferred.
  • Skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy
  • Excellent proofreading skills required and proficiency with AP Style preferred
  • Experience writing copy for broadcast and social media a plus
  • Possesses good organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well in a team with a wide range of creative types
  • Embraces learning opportunities in the fields of personal injury law and advertising
