Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking a full-time Courier to join its Charleston, SC office. The courier is responsible for providing efficient delivery services for packages, mail, and supplies within a designated area. The position will perform other office functions as needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Ensuring prompt courier services for firm personnel within a designated area.

  • Recording courier service expenses accurately and assigning them to the appropriate client matter or internal accounting codes.

  • Obtaining signatures for hand-delivered packages.

  • Communicating effectively with attorneys and staff regarding courier service functions.

  • Assisting in maintaining office security by monitoring the parking area and keeping the lot clean of debris.

  • Provide support to Office Services during non-delivery times, including light housekeeping.

  • Maintain personal vehicle equipment used for delivery and is in legal working order.

  • Complying with safety regulations, traffic laws, and local ordinances related to driving a vehicle.

  • Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Regular, in-person attendance is required.


 


Qualifications



  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for making deliveries

  • Must be able to lift 10 - 25lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50lbs.
