About the Role






The Creative Specialist – Webcast and Podcast Production is an integral part of Latham’s Technology and Information Services team. This role will be responsible for the technical production of webcasts and podcasts for the firm, while coordinating all aspects of the production from pre-production to post-production, including recording and editing programs. This role will be located in either our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles or our New York City office. Please note that this is an in-office role.









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Directing participants for the desired response and performance, including setting up production hardware such as webcams and microphones, and providing best practices on hardware usage and composition, lighting, and audio considerations
  • Providing technical support to presenters and participants before and during the recordings and livestreams
  • Providing timely and proactive support to participants, troubleshooting technical issues, and quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise before or during recordings and livestreams
  • Assisting with the maintenance and testing of remote recording equipment and software, including coordinating repairs and replacements
  • Researching and evaluating hardware and software in the market applicable to recordings, and making recommendations to the firm regarding new products

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products (including Premier Pro), audio recording and editing software programs (such as Adobe Audition), AV hardware including webcams, microphones, digital recorders, and interface/mixer, as well as webinar programs (such as ON24, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams)
  • Display the ability to diagnose technical issues and test, recommend, and implement solutions
  • Exhibit well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm

 

And have:

 

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent; with a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in corporate podcast/webcast production
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience working with media production, lighting and equipment
