This job is not for you if you are not comfortable in Court or have no desire to be in Court. Most clients are falsely accused and creative, zealous written and verbal advocacy skills are a must.

  • Interfaced with clients and managed case deadlines.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, memorandum, discovery demands and responses, correspondence, etc.
  • Handle all aspects of criminal law cases from inception through completion.
  • Manage litigation schedule.
  • Lead, delegate, and drive a support team to provide the best possible representation for your clients.
  • Client interface and meetings.
  • Manages cases from inception through trial.
  • Strategic thinking to zealously advocate for all clients.
  • Handling all aspects of litigation.
  • Performing legal research.

  • Admission to the Michigan State Bar is required.
  • Federal Experience is preferred but not required.
  • The ideal candidate is kind, empathetic, and energetic, with a strong desire for success.
  • Minimum 3 years of practice or equivalent legal experience, with over 10 jury trials or formal trial training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Superb customer service skills are expected.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • A positive attitude is highly valued.
  • The candidate should be able to analyze, collaborate, and implement trial strategies to achieve client goals.
