We currently have an opening for an entry level Data Support Assistant in our Minneapolis, MN office or working remotely. See required/preferred qualifications below. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong computer skills are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Collaborate across departments to provide comprehensive reporting, data updates, and process improvement input while responding to attorney and staff inquiries
- Monitor and manage internal ticketing system for user requests, working with technical support team to establish consistent support procedures
- Process client docket reports to create prosecution meeting agendas, including gathering and uploading relevant documentation for attorney/client review
- Prepare custom docket reports, prosecution forecasts, proposal templates, and claim history charts per client procedures
- Generate periodic status and portfolio reports based on attorney and client requests
- Provide expertise in firm-sponsored software, databases, and Foundation IP while keeping client databases current
- Assist attorneys and Accounting with review of client invoice(s)
- Provide backup support for co-workers and perform additional tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the entire Microsoft 365 Suite
- Demonstrated ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year degree
- Knowledge of patent prosecution process
- Experience with technical documentation and improvement processes
- Familiarity with professional/law firm environment
