About the Role

The Enterprise Applications Supervisor – Events and Trials is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team and will be responsible for overseeing the team’s resources in planning and supporting various events and meetings with the assistance of the team lead and manager, while assisting the Events and Trials Manager with reviewing and responding to urgent emails received outside of regular business hours, including weekends. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Events and Trials team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines
  • Collaborating with the Events and Trials Manager to develop and implement new strategies for ongoing successful event management
  • Planning and organizing multiple events and meetings both in-office and offsite, ensuring there is proper on-site support, internet connectivity, as well as any needed equipment or supplies
  • Meeting and coordinating with other internal departments, such as the event planning team and Business Development team, for various in-office and offsite events and meetings
  • Installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting desktops/notebooks, monitors, other peripheral devices, copiers, and AV hardware/software at the firm-sponsored event
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

  • Display excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and professional interpersonal skills

 

And have:

 

  • A high school diploma
  • A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, preferably
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in event management/support or a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management related to planning event logistics
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
