Are you passionate about helping people have peace of mind?

We are looking for an eager Probate Paralegal to grow our Estate Administration legal team. We need someone who is motivated, hard-working, and has an ownership mentality. Previous legal experience is required with a minimum of 2 years probate/estate administration experience, specifically with annual and final account preparation.

When our clients hire us, they are going through a difficult time, and they’re expecting premium client service and an efficient resolution of their estate administration matters. Our clients are often dealing with a lawyer for the first time and are dealing with new concepts. They are also experiencing an overwhelming tragedy in the loss of a loved one. Our ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with clients on the phone and through email on a daily basis and is professional and caring during in-person meetings with our clients. They will ask a lot of questions. You should be empathetic and patient as you will be answering many questions that have already been asked.

Our Probate Paralegal will provide support to our Estate Administration legal team by assisting with the drafting of probate documents under the direction of our experienced Probate Attorneys, providing consistent communication to our clients by email and phone regarding their matter status, keeping accurate case project management, printing and preparing probate documents for signing appointments, and assembling packages for submission to the court.

This position requires a combination of empathy, attention to detail, strong work ethic, high-level client service mentality, teamwork, time management, managing deadlines, active listening, attention to instructions, and resourcefulness. Most importantly, you need to have compassion when dealing with our clients. To put it simply, we want you to do good work and rally around our clients to help solve their legal problems. We want people who want to make a positive difference in our little piece of the world.
