Experienced Probate Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Probate/Guardianship Attorney.

This is a HYBRID position. Partially REMOTE preferred. Fully remote with demonstrated teamwork/leadership skills can be considered.

If you are a scrappy, self-motivated Probate and Guardianship Attorney with 3+ years of direct, relevant experience, keep reading below. 

• You MUST be able to manage your cases from beginning to end.
• Must be able to delegate to and supervise work of paralegals and assistants.
• Review and edit drafts of probate documents for formal and summary administrations, guardianships and conservatorship.
• Draft substantive complaints, motions, oppositions, correspondence and other pleadings for contested matters.
• Research various probate issues.
• Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas and document requests.
• Attend meetings and court hearings.  

This is a client-facing position. You will be dealing directly with clients and responsible for communicating with other counsel. Delicate wallflowers need not apply.

• 3+ years of Probate, Guardianship, and Adversarial Probate experience or enough to be COMPETENT, CONFIDENT, and mostly AUTONOMOUS in this role
• You must be able to take a file from start to finish on your own
• Must be a member of The Florida Bar
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• This is a full-time position with a base salary + quarterly performance bonuses
