  • Litigate motions and final trials in front of Superior Court judges or juries.
  • Manage family law cases from start to finish.
  • Utilize superior writing skills to draft and approve all legal documents from DRFAs, motions, pleadings, responses, and discovery to briefs.
  • Help to obtain and facilitate 5-star reviews by satisfied clients.
  • Perform quality work that results in happy clients who re-hire us and refer their friends and family members.

  • Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia with no prior discipline or disbarment from the Georgia Bar.
  • A minimum of three years prior experience as a family law attorney in the State of Georgia (or a minimum of 1 year if you were a paralegal for 5 or more years.)
  • Prior case management experience working with family law clients or criminal clients leading a case from start to close.
  • Knowledge of Georgia family laws, cases, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with metro Atlanta family law judges.
  • Prior trial experience in divorce and child custody cases.
  • Excellent old-fashioned work ethic. No 9-5 mindsets. We value work-life balance but do not want employees with a clock-out-at-5:00 p.m. mindset. Arrive on time, work efficiently, and ensure deadlines are met and cases are managed in a proactive way to reduce stress on staff and clients.
  • Team player who works with our high-functioning team. We have a superior team and do not want any mess spreaders to disrupt this. We have direct communication and not backstabbing. We are professionals, but not sticks in the mud. We are accountable and own it when we make a mistake, learn from it, and move on. We understand that we are engaged in the practice of law. We are seeking an attorney who can enhance and elevate our team.
  • Honest, loyal, ethical and trustworthy.
  • Appreciate clients' experience and have a genuine desire to help them with their family law matters.
  • Excellent computer and technology skills. Able to learn new software and systems with ease.
  • Organized and able to work with established systems and processes. We are not a new company. We have established ways of doing things and need lawyers who can work within our systems and work together to constantly improve them.
  • Able to manage a full caseload with the help of our skilled paralegals and legal staff.
  • Not afraid to go to court and litigate and fight for clients. Our ideal lawyer can settle cases where possible but litigate if needed on some or all of the issues.
  • Superior client management and case management skills.
