Role Objective
Price Benowitz LLP is in search of a law student to join its firm as a Fellow who can commit to a fellowship either for the fall 2024 semester or for the whole school year.

We're currently looking for motivated law students to support our Criminal Defense practice team and out Operations. You will contribute to legal research, compose legal documents, and assist our criminal defense lawyers in their representation of those affected. You will also be granted the opportunity to obtain practical experience in operations, learning about many aspects of the day-to-day operations of a firm.

Location
Our Fellowship is in-person located in our Washington, D.C. Office.

Time Commitment:
We are seeking a Fellow who can commit to a fellowship either for the Fall 2024 semester or for the whole school year. Fellowship may be run on a part-time basis (10, 15, or 20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week). 

Pay
$17/Hour

Qualifications and Skills
  • Currently enrolled in a JD program (1L, 2L or 3L students may apply.
  • Knowledge or prior experience in Criminal Defense Law.
  • Spanish fluency a plus.
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Slack and Goggle Suite (Mail, Google Docs, Meet & Calendar, and Excel).
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities while respecting tight deadlines.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to cooperatively interact with all levels of personnel.
