Analysis Group’s Finance Manager – Revenue & Commercial Management will play a critical role within the organization, providing problem solving and strategic leadership to the Client Finance function. This position will partner closely with AG's Finance Leadership, Managing Directors, and other key stakeholders to enable profitable business growth and success. This position is responsible for leading and operationalizing Analysis Group’s Pricing, Rates, and Partnerships with clients for sustainable growth and profitability. In addition, this role delivers strategic problem solving; facilitating strategic projects, developing, and implementing scalable procedures, while building business partnerships to drive positive outcomes.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead the process on implementing Analysis Group’s rates with clients with the goal of optimizing long-term client relationships and profitability. This can range from: communicating and negotiating with clients on rates, understanding the impact of non-standard rate agreements, and facilitating the process of getting rates within a client’s system.
- Creating a Center of Excellence on rate negotiations to understand the full scope of all agreements with clients.
- Supporting Analysis Group’s Client Finance Team on its data analytics rollout
- Special Projects – Work on special projects as needed to set up Analysis Group for next generation performance that focuses on automation, scale, and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. MBA Preferred.
- 7 years of substantive relevant experience required.
- Prior management experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience, with specific highlights on negotiation, financial modeling, and effectively communicating to senior stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen to deliver creative solutions.
- Strong analytical capabilities to design and update financial models that utilize strong and weak assumptions at a client and firm level to understand sensitivity analyses, profitability projections, and equity amongst stakeholders.
- Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Specific strong competency on Excel to drive strategic analytical insights, financial modeling, and automation.
- Familiarity with financial systems software (3E, StarCollect, Power BI Dashboards preferred but not required).
- Legal Services & Health Care industries experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to initiate and lead stakeholders to or through change. Adept at the implementation of change through effective communication and leadership techniques.
- High attention to detail to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Strong organization skills.
