About the Role






The Financial Expense Systems Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team and will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the firm’s expense, invoice, and procurement systems, while acting as a liaison between the finance department, software vendors, and consultants for any system related issues or development. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the expense, invoice, and purchase order systems within the organization, overseeing all related activities including system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Providing training and mentorship to other team members on the expense, invoice, and procurement functionalities and best practices
  • Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Possess deep knowledge of system analysis, design, and project management

And have:

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, preferably
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with financial systems
