The Funds Practice Intelligence Analyst will work under the direction of the Funds KM Counsel to support the group’s practice intelligence initiative. The Analyst will be responsible for identifying and communicating insightful and actionable trends and insights to drive business development, client retention and other business opportunities.
Produce insightful analysis and post-deal assessments, benchmarking and market trend reports leveraging data from the Firm’s experience management other sources for internal audiences and client presentations
Communicate internally with attorneys to confirm data accuracy and integrity
Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and derive insights
Create dynamic visualizations and use data storytelling techniques to effectively communicate trends and insights to client and prospects
Design and maintain visual reports and dashboards, PowerPoint decks and other at-the-ready materials that can be leveraged for client presentations and meetings
Tailor materials as needed to suit the requirements of various stakeholders
Gain a deep understanding of the practice, clients and prospects to be able to proactively identify and present actionable information
Meet tight deadlines for client presentations and meetings
Provide other to support the practice group as may be assigned
Bachelor’s degree is required
A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in private equity which can include investment due diligence, placement agent or PE consulting experience
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to derive actionable insights from data
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data effectively
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Strong and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact diplomatically with all levels of firm personnel
Self-starter and highly motivated
Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information
Must be flexible to adjust hours to meet practice group needs
Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling)
Competency with data visualization platforms desirable (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau)
Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
