Washington, D.C. office of an AmLaw firm seeks health care associate attorney with 1-5 years of experience in the federal regulation of health care finance including Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act and familiarity with the relevant fraud and abuse laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Ethics in Patient Referrals Act of 1989 (commonly known as the “Stark Law”). The candidate will participate in rulemaking proceedings before the Department of Health and Human Services (including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Office of Inspector General), Departments of Treasury and Labor. Will represent clients in administrative hearings, and assist in counseling clients involved in corporate transactions.
