Human Resources Administrator

 

Foulston is looking for an experienced HR professional to join our Wichita office. Responsibilities include:


  • Manage recruiting efforts for some staff positions and assist with other positions, working closely with managers and team leaders

  • Conduct onboarding processes for new employees and attorneys

  • Administer Firm benefits including reconciling monthly benefit invoices

  • Update and maintain personnel records including updating the HCM

  • Coordinate and execute multiple employee engagement and recruiting events throughout the year

  • Assist with payroll processing and act as proxy for Director of Human Resources when needed

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with FMLA and COBRA administration

  • Communicate professionally and appropriately with attorneys and employees regarding payroll and benefits questions, company policies, events, and other items as directed by senior leadership

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources, Chief Administrative Officer, and other senior leadership with HR related initiatives

  • Scanning, data entry, and general clerical tasks

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications include:


  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills are paramount to success in this role

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with use of proper grammar and punctuation

  • Excellent technical skills, including expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Prior experience with full-cycle recruiting, including interviewing candidates

  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration

  • Professional demeanor and outstanding character

  • Prior experience in human resources is required

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is desired

  • Experience in a professional services firm is preferred

  • SHRM or HCRI certification is helpful
