About Us:
A Viva Engage client is seeking a skilledΒ Human Resources GeneralistΒ that will play a crucial role in shaping our growing company by ensuring that our team members are well-supported and engaged from day one. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining essential HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and managing international team contracts.


Responsibilities



  • Manage our relationship with our Global People Platform vendor and ensure compliance with international employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation, including employee contracts, company org chart, and management of key company platforms.

  • Collaborate with the Leadership team on the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and participating in interviews as needed.

  • Responsible for creating a seamless experience for team members from initial candidacy through their last day of employment

  • Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.

  • Tracking HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire, employee satisfaction) and reporting these metrics to leadership to guide decision-making.

  • Drive team culture initiatives, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and positive work environment that aligns with our core values.


Requirements



  • 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, generalist roles, or related fields.

  • A scrappy self-starter with an ownership mindset and a keen interest in creating a positive workplace culture.

  • A global mindset with a relentless passion for inclusion and cultural diversity.

  • Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities.

  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Benefits:
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours), Remote
