IP Operations Specialist

Join Fish’s Minneapolis team in our fast-paced Practice Systems Department as an IP Operations Specialist.

How Will You Make a Difference?

• Responsible for a wide range of administrative and procedural duties
• Report on internal and external data including developing and maintaining statistical reports.
• Analyze and evaluate trends and make operational recommendations based on these trends.
• Docket management initiatives
• Filings and correspondence related to special client/firm services
• Special client services and vendor management
• Document processing
• Forms creation and editing
• Administer accounts with the varying patent offices for the practice group (e.g. USPTO, ePCT, EPO, etc.)

What Will You Bring to the Table?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies or similar field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in U.S. and Foreign Patent and/or Trademark prosecution support services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ProLaw, IP management systems and online IP resources.
• Ability to learn other computer applications with training provided necessary to the completion of tasks.
• Ability to work in the office as projects or tasks require
• Hybrid role - 3 days required in office per month. Ability to work in the office as needed for training and collaboration.

• Our pay range for this position in Minneapolis is $28.46 - $38.36 per hour (based on a 37.5 hour work week)
