Kilpatrick, a large international law firm, is seeking an IT Cloud Administrator for our IT Department in our Atlanta office, working remotely. This position will be part of our team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients. The IT Cloud Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, management, and maintenance of our cloud-based systems which includes but are not limited to MS Azure/ADS, M365/One Drive/Teams, Exchange Online, iManage Cloud, AI/OpenAI, and the oversight of third-party file sharing platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Configure, deploy and manage full private/hybrid cloud stack infrastructure including routing, switching, segmentation, and perimeter defense.

  • Deploy cloud assets with a focus on best practice security and availability based on the principle of least privilege.

  • Monitor cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support continuous integration and deployment processes.

  • Manage cloud cost optimization and budgeting.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure and processes.

  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

  • Knowledge of third-party cloud file sharing platforms like GWS, Box Enterprise, etc.

  • Continually align services to the changing needs of the Firm by identifying and implementing improvements to services that support the firm’s processes.

  • Analyze and make recommendations on improvement opportunities in service strategy, design, and operations.

  • Work closely with legal teams, IT professionals, key stakeholders, and external vendors to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.


 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/related field or relevant technical certification e.g. MS Certified Azure Administrator, etc.

  • 5+ years of experience in a manager-level information technology position with a strong understanding of legal workflows and technology solutions.

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms.

  • Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and performance tuning.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent people skills.

  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

This is a full-time, regular position with a multi-faceted health benefit package including medical, dental, and vision. The firm also offers life insurance, short term disability plans and retirement plans in addition to holidays and paid time off.  The firm offers hybrid work schedules combining in office work days as well as remote work days.  The pay range for this position in Atlanta only is $131,800 to $197,800 annually.
