Speaks Law Firm is in search of a Legal Assistant to assist with our Litigation department. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Firm's Paralegals and Attorneys. Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to communicate and liaison with all team members, clientele, and the public. Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to, answering calls and ensuring proper message delivery, sorting and disbursing incoming mail and faxes, scheduling, requesting, organizing, and summarizing medical records, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Preparing forms, exhibits, and documents for client meetings
Sorting and disbursing incoming mail and faxes
Calendaring important deadlines and scheduling client appointments
Requesting medical records and bills from a variety of providers
Processing and logging invoices appropriately
Updating and documenting information in Needles Neos and any departmental spreadsheets
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Positive demeanor as a team player
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective time management and attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office and Adobe products
A desire to work in a law firm setting
Organizational and professional communication skills
Must be able to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment
