Legal Assistant - Civil Litigation

Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC, is seeking a legal assistant with 5 or more years of experience in Civil Litigation with emphasis in consumer lending and bankruptcy. This is a hybrid position for our Las Vegas, NV office.  Our Legal Assistants work in partnership with their assigned attorneys and are responsible for maintaining an effective daily workflow as well as independently managing/coordinating administrative services to business clients. This is a full-time opportunity, and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing assigned attorneys’ calendars, dockets and appointments
• Filing in the Nevada and California court systems
• Maintaining and organizing attorney caseloads across several jurisdictions 
• Screening incoming client calls and correspondence and responding as necessary
• Composing and preparing emails, confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents
• Creating and maintaining practice workflow spreadsheets
• Conducting attorney time entry and complex billing
• Providing back-up support to other legal assistants
• Performing other duties as assigned
