- Manage assigned case files to ensure deadlines are met by other team members
- Attend weekly meetings to prioritize assignments and incorporate workflows
- Keep clients apprised of case status, court dates, and progress
- At least 5 years of experience in a law firm setting, performing administrative tasks
- Experience in criminal law is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines with quick turnaround times
- Experience in billing time accurately and efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Patient and consistent in maintaining established standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Unhurried, methodical, and step-by-step approach to well-defined, repetitive tasks
- Ability to investigate information with empathy and a positive attitude
- Effective team player and collaborator with a cooperative approach to work
