KMK Law is in search of a Legal Assistant to join our Real Estate Group. The Legal Assistant provides general administrative support for attorneys and paralegals in the Real Estate practice group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain electronic and paper client files.
- Prepare electronic closing binders and materials for deals finalized in practice group.
- Draft, proofread, and edit communications and other correspondence; prepare documents for electronic signature.
- Provides skilled, proactive administrative tasks encompassing calendar entries, travel arrangements, expense reports, scheduling meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Excellence in customer service.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Law firm experience a plus.
- May lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
- High school diploma or GED required.
