Rivkin Radler LLP has an immediate full-time opening for a Legal Records Specialist working in our Uniondale office.


 


In the Records Department we act as an ambassador to our information process. You will be trained on how we manage Records & Information such as creating, storage, archiving, retention & disposition.


 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


 



  • File documents into file folders

  • Create new and additional folders in File Trail

  • Fulfill service requests from legal staff, such as retrieving folders & documents in a timely manner

  • Maintain appropriate file inventory space

  • Maintain proper chain of custody workflow – checking file folders in/out from every location

  • Liaise with offsite storage facility regarding storage and shredding

  • Requesting digital files from warehouse and adding into Netdocs

  • Sharing electronic files and document from Netdocs

  • Scanning & profiling documents into Netdocs 

  • File e-mail requests into our document management system, Netdocs

  • Ad-hoc records projects such as digitizing, quarterly clean-up


 


 Qualifications:


 



  • 3 years record management – Creating, circulating, storing & disposing

  • Strong communication & customer service skills

  • Excellent organization management skills

  • Proficient with File Trail, Netdocs, Outlook, Word & Excel

  • Attention to detail & sense of urgency

  • Positive & professional attitude

  • Ability to lift 35lbs

  • Hours: 10am-6pm

The annualized salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
