About You
- You’re experienced, with a proven track record in managing legal support teams (paralegals and legal assistants) and optimizing departmental functions.
- You're strategic, focusing on process improvement, system development, and aligning support services with the firm’s operational goals.
- You’re efficient, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery while maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.
- You’re a leader, effectively overseeing day-to-day operations and managing a team to meet the needs of attorneys and the firm.
- You're detail-oriented, ensuring all legal support functions operate efficiently and effectively to enhance overall firm performance.
About the Job
You’ll be responsible for:
- Team Management: Supervising the daily operations of legal admin teams, providing support and feedback while ensuring they meet performance standards and KPIs.
- Process Development: Crafting, documenting, and improving processes to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and ensure consistency across all support functions.
- Cross-channel collaboration: Facilitating communication between support services teams and attorneys, ensuring alignment on expectations and ongoing collaboration.
- Resource allocation: Allocate team resources appropriately based on business needs and manage departmental budgets to align with financial objectives.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Family law experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience in process improvement and system development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced or growing environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this role is: $85,000 - $115,000, but ultimately will depend on experience.
