The Legal Talent Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts for lateral attorneys on a firmwide basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain lateral attorney job postings, both internally and externally.
Coordinate interview schedules, travel logistics, reimbursement requests, and other details related to attorney interviews.
Assist with compiling offer terms, drafting offer letters, managing background and conflicts checks, and other communications with attorney candidates and search firms.
Maintain applicant records in the firm’s recruiting database/applicant tracking system and prepare hiring statistics.
Support a team of recruiting managers with day-to-day tasks, including expense reports, meeting agendas, and data entry.
Support special research projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with applicant tracking systems is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.
Efficient multi-tasker with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple assignments, and work responsibly under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality service and effectively handle internal and external partnership needs in a timely manner.
Ability to work effectively with teams, self-manage and work independently to promote consistent and efficient workflow processes.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or related experience in a law firm or other professional services setting.
