Description
The Denver office of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm,
seeks an experienced Litigation Assistant to provide legal and
administrative support to the Oil & Gas team in our Environmental
Practice Group.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Draft, revise and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Schedule appointments, travel arrangements, conferences and client meetings
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports,
check requests and time entry, as requested
- Maintain client and administrative files in accordance with firm
procedures, including within the document management system
- Superior knowledge of e-filing and court procedures (state and federal)
- Ability to prepare complaints and other pleadings
- Ability to prepare documents, forms, declarations and exhibits for attorneys
- Prepare discovery requests and responses
- Capable of multi-tasking with a strong attention to detail in a
fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and/or
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Oil & Gas experience a plus
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products with special
emphasis on MSWord, Excel, Time & Billing software
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work overtime, when needed
CO salary range $70,000 - $105,000.
