The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic litigation associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience and is well-versed in employment law in the state of California.
The role entails participating in all aspects of employment law litigation defense including drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, drafting discovery and review and analysis of responses, meaningfully participating in and contributing to overall strategy from case inception to completion, taking depositions, negotiations, legal research and writing, representing clients before courts and administrative agencies.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school
- 2+ years litigation experience, preferably in employment law
- Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to escalate identified issues
- Strong sense of ownership of your role
- Internet & tech savvy
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & auto insurance
