Rhoades McKee is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team! This roles primary responsibilities will be to assist our attorneys with administrative tasks and provide our clients with exceptional service.


Responsibilities include:



  • Prepare and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Communicate with clients, including conducting client intake and follow ups.

  • Prepare documents and forms by completing initial drafts and processing edits.

  • Draft and review legal correspondence including thoroughly proofreading for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.

  • Prepares, issues and handles tracking and disposition of subpoenas or other requests for information.

  • Assisting with trial preparation by organizing exhibits and performing other tasks.

  • Track case status for events scheduled in assigned cases.

  • Communicate with clients regarding the status of their case and to send and receive documents.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work with sensitive information and always adhere to ethical standards.

  • Familiar with State and Federal court filings, including submission of electronic filings.
