DeMayo Law Offices is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable & organized Litigation Paralegal who will be responsible for assisting the Litigation Attorneys with the handling of complex and serious personal injury litigation cases. The paralegal role is critical to the success of our clients’ cases by managing the case, ensuring complete & timely trial preparation, and keeping clients informed every step of the way.


Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients regularly
  • Managing cases, including scheduling; preparing summons, complaints, motions, discovery responses, etc.; obtaining and summarizing medical records; trial preparation; etc.
  • Meeting with clients and assisting with completion of litigation questionnaire
  • Supporting the attorneys with all aspects of litigation to help ensure our clients receive maximum possible recovery for their cases


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; however, a combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of Personal Injury law firm experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of PI- related medical issues
  • Experience working on complex liability and personal injury claims
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
