About the Role






The Manager of Enterprise Applications is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for leading the team that control the deployment and maintenance of diverse applications in use at the firm, while organizing, assigning, delegating, and coordinating the work of the staff to ensure department objectives are met timely and accurately, as well as generating a formal performance evaluation for departmental employees. This role will be located in either our Manchester office or our Global Services Office, situated in downtown LA. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

  • Making recommendations to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications with regards to selecting, coaching, counseling, and disciplining departmental employees; making recommendations with respect to employee performance
  • Acting as the lead resource for technology questions, issues, upgrades, and installations for the firm
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications systems; examples include but are not limited to, Document Management, Client Relationship Management, and Intake and Risk systems
  • Developing and deploying software fixes, security patches, and feature updates to maintain a secure and stable environment
  • Drafting communications announcing software upgrades, application fixes, deployment of security patches, and other notifications to Technology Managers, support staff, and firm personnel in all offices


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess strong knowledge of and proficiency in multi-tier enterprise application platforms, PC applications and remote communication methodologies
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills needed to troubleshoot a variety of symptoms, diagnose problems, and test, recommend, and implement solutions to technology problems
  • Possess the ability to use database software, spreadsheet, and word processing software and equipment to complete analysis and report

 

And have:

  • A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience of working in the Information Technology profession and experience directly or indirectly supporting enterprise software
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Exposure to a law firm, or other professional services, environment
