About the Role






Manger of Global Learning & Development is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Global Learning & Development team’s responsibilities, which includes primarily design, development, and delivery of content and materials, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development, while designing and developing new learning and development programs, as well as reviewing and updating current programs to ensure continuous learning and improvement. This role will be located in either our New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and preparing materials, including facilitator’s guides, participant workbooks, and visual aids, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Assisting in identifying and analyzing learning and development needs and providing innovative learning and development solutions for the firm 
  • Assisting in curating content for the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Completing special learning- and development-related projects
  • Generating performance evaluations and recommending salary increases, working with Human Capital & Talent to recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of employees

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Possess outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, in all media
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Exhibit outstanding project management skills demonstrated across multiple locations, cultures, and matrixed organizations

 

And have:

 

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Instructional Design, or a related field, preferably
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in learning and development
  • Experience managing global projects within a matrixed environment, preferably
  • Experience and/or knowledge of LMSs, preferably
  • Experience designing and facilitating virtual learning, preferably
