Marketing Specialist Job Details:



Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western United States, is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to work from the firm’s office in Los Angeles, California.


This individual, reporting to the firm’s Associate Director of Business Development & Marketing, will support the firm’s business development and marketing efforts in California, and may also provide management support, as needed, for firmwide projects and initiatives.


The position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Coach attorneys in areas of marketing and business development

  • Help lead and mentor marketing and business development professionals in support of market-driven initiatives impacting internal and external stakeholders

  • Assist in development and implementation of the team’s marketing and business development strategy

  • Support local internal and external communications, branding, advertising, social media, media/public relations, event management, business development, community involvement, nominations, and vendor relations for California offices

  • Contribute positively to team’s success and reputation by building and fostering strategic relationships internally and externally

  • Forecast/monitor marketing and business development expenses for California offices

  • Create customized pitches/RFPs

  • All other duties and projects as assigned or required


Experience and Qualifications:



  • At least three years of marketing/business development experience, including elevating teams in law or other professional services firms

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field is helpful

  • Keen understanding of legal marketing industry

  • Ability to work well with others and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships internally and externally

  • Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills within a variety of settings

  • Ability to work well under pressure within a deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to present a professional and polished image and demeanor

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media platforms, and CRM management is needed

  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required

  • Ability to travel, as required



    The position is non-exempt based on 37.50 hours per week with a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on years of experience.
