Marketing Technology Intern

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Business Development & Marketing

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Location: Fort Worth, but Dallas candidates will also be taken into consideration

Jackson Walker, the largest law firm in Texas, has an exciting temporary employment opportunity for a marketing technology intern in our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. Our Marketing Technology Internship Program provides interns with valuable hands-on experience in CRM, content management, experience management, marketing automation, and data stewardship. Interns will assist with CRM and data management, implementing new features on the Jackson Walker website, tracking project status, and participating in team meetings. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills and build a network within the legal industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • CRM Support & Data Management: Assisting with the maintenance and optimization of the FirmοΏ½s CRM system, including entering client, contact, and matter data, managing lists, identifying and correcting errors, completing data quality checks, and generating reports to track key metrics and support decision-making
  • Marketing Automation: Supporting the execution of marketing automation campaigns including email marketing, event marketing, and campaign tracking
  • Website Management: Assisting with updates and maintenance of the FirmοΏ½s website and implementing new features
  • Analytics & Reporting: Assisting with tracking and analysis of marketing campaign performance, generating reports, and identifying trends and insights
  • Project Management & Tracking: Using the teamοΏ½s project tracking system to monitor, update, and report on the status of projects including rankings and award submissions
  • Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the Business Development & Marketing team as needed
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with MS Office οΏ½ Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. HubSpot, DealCloud), web content management systems (i.e. WordPress), project management systems (i.e. Monday.com), and web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics) a plus
  • Strong interest and experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, and professional services firms
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong execution and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to think critically and show initiative
  • Ability to handle confidential documents and information appropriately
  • Contribute to and execute the goals of the team

Education:

High school senior, college student, or postgrad student (1-2 years post-graduation)

Years of Experience:

No prior professional experience required; relevant coursework or extracurricular activities are a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise and temperature.
  • 37.5 hours per week
