POSITION SUMMARY:


The Mass Tort Operations Program Director is responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end operational solution, design, and business readiness for large mass tort programs. This role will coordinate the execution of large mass tort programs to ensure they are launched effectively and meet measurable outcomes on time and within budget. This leader will work closely and align efforts with external clients and vendors and senior leadership and stakeholders across diverse teams, including US and India Operations, Technology, Client Engagement, Finance, and HR.  This role also requires a strong background in designing tech-enabled services, including experience providing feature requirements, writing user acceptance test plans, and designing processes to incorporate technology solutions.


POSITION LOCATION: Houston, TX and Remote.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


·        Program Leadership: Lead and manage large mass tort programs that align with client-specified goals and objectives. Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with external clients, senior management and stakeholders.


·        Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and ROI management. Ensure alignment with overall client strategy and objectives.


·        Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external clients, senior executives, department heads, and external partners. Facilitate regular communication to provide updates on program progress, risks, and opportunities.


·        Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including US and India Operations, Technology, Sales, Client Engagement, Finance and HR, to ensure seamless integration and execution of mass tort program activities. Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.


·        Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that could impact the successful delivery of mass tort programs and outcomes. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues to COO as needed to ensure resolution.


·        Performance Monitoring: Gather key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics from clients and senior leadership to track program performance and progress. Provide regular reports and presentations to senior leadership on program status, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.


·        Technology Solution Coordination: Coordinate with technology team on tech-enabled solutions to meet client and program design needs, provide feature requirements, participate in technology development demonstrations to provide feedback, create user acceptance test plans, and train operations team to utilize new features.


·        Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with specific mass tort program designs, ensuring that organizational change is managed effectively, and  staff are engaged and supported throughout the process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


·      Minimum 10 years experience in project management, process improvement and   innovation roles.


·        Minimum 5 years experience managing client relationships.


·        Proven ability to lead and manage complex cross-functional programs.


·        Ability to influence and build relationships with external clients and internal   stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


·        Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks for testing.


·        Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.


·        Hands-on experience with project management tools (example, Jira, MS Project,    Smartsheet).


·        Strong understanding of organization change management principles and best practices.


·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
