MASS TORTS MEDICAL RECORDS COORDINATOR


JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our Mass Torts team. This position is fast-paced and supports a team of attorneys doing regular litigation in state and federal courts. It will involve collaboration with other medical records coordinators, paralegals, and case assistants.


SALARY AND BENEFITS:


$25.00-$27.00/hour


Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

JOB DUTIES:



  • Retrieving, organizing, and processing medical records in accordance with established procedures.

  • Preparing correspondence to providers and/or facilities.

  • Follow up on all medical record requests in a timely manner.

  • Submitting invoices to the medical records manager and accounting.

  • Performing quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.

  • Communicating regularly with clients.

  • Prioritizing competing tasks and priorities.

  • Uploading and updating client information into a case management database.

  • Working within portals for submission of case-related documents for clients and cases.


QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.

  • This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with case management software programs is a plus.

  • Candidates should be comfortable with the suite of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Adobe.
