We are seeking a motivated individual to join our organization as an Operations Manager in our Middletown, DE Office.  The Operations Manager will play an important role in helping us manage service fulfillment and delivery and provide the best service experience for our clients.  Collaboration, Dedication, and Thoughtfulness are hallmarks of our organization, and the Operations Manager would work closely with the organization’s CEO, Practice Area Managers, Billing Team, Staff, and clients.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee project management and service delivery operations; manage a team of project administrators.

  • Responsible for developing a strategic vision, objectives, and goals to optimize service delivery.

  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment using continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in the development of the operations team including resource management and capacity, productivity and efficiency, identifying training needs, and performance reviews.

  • Help assess and establish policies and procedures for the organization’s operational needs.

  • Advise the organization’s CEO on identified needs and needed improvements, and help develop implementation plans, accordingly.

  • Maintain good customer relations through regular communication and maintaining the highest level of quality.

  • Work in coordination with team members to adhere to company policy and improvement initiatives.

  • Collaboration and communication with various team members within the organization as well as management and stakeholders.

  • Establish key performance indicators and maintain overall project schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables.

  • Organize and lead daily progress meetings to support staff and mitigate potential issues.

  • Collaborate with the organization’s CEO to develop client relations policies and procedures, and to assist with client relations matters.


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of proven experience managing operations in a professional services firm.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Project Management Certification - preferred 

    • Agile

    • Certified Operation Manager (COM)

    • Project Management Professional (PMP)

    • Project Management Institute (PMI)

    • Certified Manager Certification (CM) 




Skills: 



  • Familiarity with program evaluation review technique (PERT).

  • Strong inclination and desire to work collaboratively. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff, and identify and execute priorities for both the organization and its teams, in collaboration with the organization’s CEO. 

  • Familiar with project management tools like SWOT and RACI.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle, prioritize, and keep track of multiple tasks and projects. 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make and communicate the rationale behind key decisions in a constantly evolving fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong time management skills with a high level of intuition and judgment.

  • Ability to learn and work with the organization’s key technologies, including Microsoft 365 apps, Adobe, case management software programs, and other general office applications.
